On Thursday, October 26th AR Chambers Supply hosted Mike Payne, Sr. Project Manager at Building Envelope Consultants and Scientists, Jeff Konkle from Prosoco, and Dave Parker from PA Passive House for a Prosoco R-Guard Air/Weather Barrier System Demonstration.
Mike. P discussed weather barrier codes, best practices and formal QC techniques. He also showcased different QC methods (bubble guy, dry mil testing.) Dave P. commented on air-tightness in Passive House construction.
The second part was hands-on for architects. Jeff K. review fluid-applied weather barrier installations. He had attendees apply material, perform penetration detailing, transitions, through wall flashing and “field QC” (wet mil gauges, pull tests, etc).
It was a great event and we were happy to have them in-house.
